My parents have owned their home since 1974. After my father died and the home showed signs of needing repair it seemed every contractor I requested a consultation from tried to make a small job into a gigantic one. I even had one contractor tell me the repairs were so great it wasn't worth repairing and I should consider selling the property. It was then that I decided to call for a home inspection to narrow down what exactly needed to be done and the order of importance in which to proceed. The home inspection Randy provided did just that. Now being supplied with the right information no one can take advantage of me. I now meet with contractors telling them what I need so I can determine from multiple bids if I'm getting a fair price.
